More than 50 years the International Geographical Union (IGU) has recognised the contributions to the international geographical community of economic geographers from around the world by designating a research commission embracing aspects of economic geography.
The Present Commission (2018-2022), “The Dynamics of Economic Spaces” (CDES), is dedicated to advancing international research and scholarship in economic geography. We believe that we have an exciting conference schedule planned for the upcoming four years (you can view the previous conference schedule here).
The Commission website is hosted at Ankara University, Turkey.
We hope you will bookmark this website and refer to it for information on work of the many economic geographers associated with the Commission.
